Who Scrabble is for
Scrabble is perfect for families, educators, word enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys thoughtful competition. It encourages vocabulary growth, arithmetic scoring, and strategic planning in a format that’s easy to learn and rewarding to master.
What’s in the box
Game board, 100 letter tiles, 4 racks, tile bag, rulebook, and a score pad—everything you need to start playing right away.
How to play Scrabble
- Draw 7 tiles; on your turn, form a word across or down, connecting to the board’s center on the first move.
- Score by adding letter values and any Double/Triple Letter or Word bonuses your tiles cover.
- Replace tiles to keep 7 on your rack; you may pass or exchange instead of playing.
- Build off existing words legally—every new word formed must be valid.
- When tiles run out and a player uses all tiles (or no moves remain), tally scores—highest total wins.
